Our organization had its origins providing a suite of financial and personal services for Ambassador Joe M. Rodgers and his family. After more than a decade of working with the Rodgers family we decided to formalize our efforts. Family Wealth Management was established in 1998 to carry our experience and knowledge to other families with multi-faceted financial opportunities.

Steve is a Principal and Managing Director of Family Wealth Management. He is in charge of overall strategic direction and oversees Investment Policy creation and all Family Office activities. Steve joined Rodgers Capital Group in 1986 as CFO and founding partner. He was an active member of RCG’s corporate finance which focused on capital formation for growth stage companies from 1994 to 1997, before stepping into his role at FWM.
From 1976 to 1986, Steve worked for Price Waterhouse as a CPA, including three years in their Milan, Italy office. Steve received his BS in Accounting from Tennessee Technological University. He has served as Chairman of the YCAP Board of Directors, a ministry to at-risk boys and girls in inner city Nashville. He has been treasurer of his church and currently serves as Troop Committee Chair and was Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 217 in Nashville.
At the age of 23, due to a car accident, Kim lost her father and experienced first-hand how an unexpected loss can impact a family. Kim’s experience has provided her with the motivation to assist families in planning for those transitions whether through death or divorce. Kim is passionate about working with families to walk beside them to successfully transition to a new season of life.
Kim joined Family Wealth Management in 2006, although her involvement with the principals of the firm spans over twenty years. Prior to working with Family Wealth Management, Kim spent fifteen years with FWM’s sister company assisting with private equity funding, real estate management and was co-founder in a real estate development company that privately developed $75 million in school buildings in middle Tennessee.

She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM and a CERTIFIED DIVORCE FINANCIAL ANALYSTTM. She obtained her Bachelors of Business Administration from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Kim has been married to Mike for twenty-seven years and has two sweet children Alex and Hannah. Kim is an active member in her community assuming leadership roles has served in her church small group ministry and has served in various political and civic organizations including The Next Door, STARS Nashville, and the Tennessee Forum, an independent political issues organization which she co-founded.
Langley Granbery is a native Nashvillian with broad interests and abilities. Over the years, his interests in investments, his family business, the H.G. Hill Company, and his church, the Episcopal Church, have led him to contribute to organizations of which he is a part. After a year of studying theology at Trinity School for Ministry, Langley served as development officer at Trinity training future leaders for the Church. For another eight years, he resettled refugees to Nashville through World Relief, assisting the persecuted and displaced in getting a new start in America.
Returning to the investment business and affiliating with Family Wealth Management is an opportunity to continue to do what Langley does best, work with people. Whether it is serving his clients professionally and looking out for their best interests or volunteering with the less fortunate to give them a better life, the combination provides a necessary and meaningful balance. He is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School in Virginia and Felsted School in Essex County, England. Returning to his hometown for college, Langley graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1977 with a B.A. in German.
Upon graduation, he started his career with Third National Bank in the bond department. Langley serves on the board of the H.G. Hill Company. He is happily married to Lois, and they have five wonderful children ages 20 to 29.
Mr. Warwick has been in the investment management industry for 27 years, and has held positions in trading, research and marketing for a number of alternative investment firms. He is the author of several books on the futures markets, as well as general investment, including Searching for Alpha: The Quest for Exceptional Investment Performance (Wiley, 2000).
Mr. Warwick has an extensive background in derivatives. He managed the first managed futures index fund in the mid-1990s, which was based on the indices created by Managed Account Reports, an industry publication that was purchased by Euromoney PLC. He was the editor of several books on the use of exchange traded futures, including the widely used college text The Futures Game (McGraw-Hill, 1998) and The Handbook of Managed Futures (McGraw-Hill, 1996). He has created a number of hedge fund and managed futures replication indices, in collaboration with Hedge Fund Research (HFR) and Nomura International.
Mr. Warwick was previously a founding shareholder and Chief Investment Officer of Sovereign Wealth Management, Inc., a multi-family wealth management firm. Mr. Warwick earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina, a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Florida, and additional undergraduate degrees in physics and chemistry. He enjoys playing tennis and other outdoor activities with his wife of 29 years and their three children.
